Strong Start to the Season for Kingshill Year 10 Rugby Team!

Term 1, Week 4

The Kingshill Year 10 rugby team kicked off their season in style with a hard-fought and competitive match against Deer Park. Right from the whistle, our players demonstrated fantastic team spirit, determination, and resilience, making for an exciting and intense game.

Despite missing a few key players, the team showed great versatility and skill, adapting to the challenge and executing some excellent attacking rugby. Kingshill dominated the game with six well-worked tries, four of which came from fast-paced plays out wide, while the other two were the result of powerful drives through the middle. Their impressive performance led them to a convincing 40-12 victory—a fantastic way to begin the season!

There were notable performances across the squad, with Benjamin scoring two tries and making two crucial try-saving tackles, keeping the opposition at bay. Special mention also goes to Olly, our prop, who not only powered over the line for a try but also converted it, much to the delight of the Kingshill supporters on the sideline.

With such a promising start, the team is already looking forward to their next fixture against Farmor’s on Tuesday. Well done to all the players for an excellent performance—we can’t wait to see how the season unfolds!
