A Huge Thank You for a Fantastic Open Evening!

Term 1, Week 3

We want to extend a huge thank you to all the students who supported us at our Open Evening this week. We were absolutely delighted that over 20% of our students returned to school to help welcome prospective families, lead tours, assist in departments, and share their experiences. Their enthusiasm, confidence, and pride in their school were evident throughout the evening, and they were truly outstanding ambassadors for Kingshill.

The feedback from visiting families has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are thrilled to share some of their wonderful comments. One family remarked, “We came away with a fantastic feel for the school and were so impressed with the students and how engaging the staff were in each of the classes.” Others appreciated our focus not just on academic success, but on nurturing resilient, well-rounded individuals, ensuring that every student is supported and challenged. Many parents were reassured by the care we take in our Year 6 to Year 7 transition, with one family highlighting “the STEPs and attention you give to ensure our children feel settled.”

Our commitment to providing varied opportunities, including a wide range of clubs, sports, and enrichment activities, was also noted as a key strength. Parents expressed that Kingshill has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where students feel at home and supported to thrive both academically and personally.
