Kingshill’s First Extend Fayre of the Year: Showcasing Extra-Curricular Opportunities

Term 1, Week 3

On Wednesday lunchtime, we were thrilled to host our very first Extend Fayre, an event designed to highlight the wide range of extra-curricular activities available to our students. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as students explored different clubs, sports teams, creative groups, and community initiatives, all aimed at enriching their school experience beyond the classroom.

As part of our commitment to personal growth and character development through the UP Strategy, we actively encourage all students to participate in at least one extra-curricular activity. This not only allows them to discover new interests and talents but also contributes to their overall ‘kindness’ score, which recognises their engagement in school and community events.

The Extend Fayre was a fantastic opportunity for students to see just how many ways they can get involved, make new friends, and develop skills that will serve them well in the future. We are incredibly proud of the enthusiasm shown and look forward to seeing even more students take advantage of these opportunities in the coming weeks!
