Year 11 Rugby Stars Shine in County Championship Victory

Term 1, Week 6

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of three of our Year 11 rugby players who were selected to represent The Stroud and Cotswold District Rugby Team in the annual County Rugby Championship Festival at Cheltenham Tigers RFC on Thursday, 10th October.

Jimmy T, Tom D, and Matt D played a vital role in their team’s success, demonstrating outstanding skill, teamwork, and determination. Their contributions helped the squad secure victory in all three matches, ultimately earning the title of Gloucestershire District School Champions.

The team put in a series of dominant performances, overcoming Cheltenham (20-5), Gloucester (10-5), and The Forest (25-5). Each match showcased their resilience and passion, with the boys displaying incredible pride and ambition while representing both their district and Kingshill School.

This is a remarkable achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder of Jimmy, Tom, and Matt for their dedication to the sport. Their success is a testament to their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence, both on and off the field.

We also extend our congratulations to all Kingshill students who represent our school in sports and extracurricular activities. Your efforts and achievements continue to inspire us all! Well done, boys!
