Easter Concert 2017

Cirencester Kingshill School pupils put on an Easter Extravaganza 

Pupils at Cirencester Kingshill School took to the stage on the evening of Wednesday 29th March 2017, for a musical extravaganza. Over 70 pupils took part in the annual Easter Concert. The Kingshill Concert Band opened the show with a rousing performance of Finale to the Carnival of the Animals. Amongst the other performances were the Advanced Singers, the Flute Ensemble, the Guitar Ensemble and the Ukulele Band. There were many individual performances from pupils as well throughout the evening.

Christine Oates, the Headteacher said “It was a brilliant evening and one of the best shows we’ve done. I’m so proud of each and every pupil who stood on that stage and gave it their all.”

Jon Driver, Head of Music, said "I am extremely proud of the high level of performances in the concert. The performers worked really hard and they are getting better and better. It was a perfect blend of fun and performance. I’m really looking forward to the next concert on 12th July 2017."

The school choir closed the show with a rendition that included both Greatest Day and Fight Song.
